Hi all!
Here is the continuation fromPart I. for great RP spots in Divinity’s Reach! Please enjoy! 🙂
The Noble Flat, Ossan District
This tiny flat located right next to the tavern in Ossan District is a great place to bring a more intimate setting to RP. With an upstairs bedroom and a downstairs kitchen there is plenty of RP abound in this location.
The Empty Room, Ossan District
I was trying to figure out what to call this place. In truth, I’ve used it in my personal RP as a trampoline studio where my characters went and jumped the night away! 🙂 It was an amazing RP date. Sometimes just having an empty room allows you all the creative space you need to make incredible memories.
The Noble Manor, Ossan District
If you want something fancier then look no further! This manor is tucked away in the back part of Ossan District. It has three levels with an eating area and two bedrooms upstairs. Keep an eye out though, it is a popular spot for RP in the open world.
Prayer Shrine, Grenth Low Road
This pretty little shrine is tucked under the bridge and is a nice little spot out of the way to use for prayer, or a more quiet moment in your RP. I love how how the torches illuminate the area and there are two benches for sitting. It’s lovely.
The Market Stalls at Salma District Entrance
I have personally RPed as a vendor and had open world walk up RP with other players and it’s so much fun! This particular spot has a ton of traffic and once RPers see that you are selling things in /say, they will be sure to come seek you out for a bit of fun, and to taste your wares. 🙂
Salma District
Of course the most popular spot in Divinity’s Reach is Salma District. If you zone into Salma the maximum limit is 5 players but you gain access to 6 buildings of various kinds including a hospital, a regal manor, a small cottage, and a restaurant! There is everything you need here to make endless RP.
Uninstanced Salma District (*** Major RP Hot Spot *** )
Now I’ll be honest, for the longest time I would read on guildwars2roleplayers.com that players were meeting in uninstanced Salma District and I had no clue where or how that was happening! Well now I’m going to share with you just how to get to this spot that, every RPer who loves open world RP, is hanging out at. Begin by starting at Lyssa Waypoint and run over to the ledge facing Salma District.
Using your glider or gryphon, launch off the ledge and glide towards the side of Salma as if to glide right over the rooftops. Here there is no invisible wall that will stop you.
Over the rooftops you go! Land in the plaza and tada! You’re ready to RP. When you want to get out, just waypoint out 🙂
Northern Rurikton House, Rurikton District
This little house is tucked away in the Northern part of Rurikton District. Look for a door that is always propped open and you’ve found the place. On the ground level you will find a kitchen and a fancy dining room with usable chairs. Then wander upstairs and you will find a crackling fireplace with plushy chairs you can sit in and a bedroom off of the lounge. It’s perfect! 🙂
Maiden’s Whisper Tavern, Rurikton District
This tavern always stays busy as it is in the heart of Rurikton. You’re sure to always find someone to RP with on any given night. Unlike many other taverns in the city, this tavern has many levels upstairs to tuck yourself off in with your friends and enjoy holing up in a booth or table.
Minister Wi’s Mansion, Rurikton District
This spacious, lavish mansion is great for open world RP that needs a fancy spot. Many players come and go through this spot, but it’s not quite as popular so you can easily slip in and host your own RP there without much issue. The downstairs has several rooms including a kitchen, dining/ballroom area, a study, and a classroom of sorts. Upstairs you’ll find several bedrooms and a library.
Refugee Camp, Kormir Low Road
I love this little RP spot and never see any other players using it. I’m not sure why more people don’t use it! If your player has “run off” from home… or perhaps they stumbled into misfortune and became broke, this spot is a great place for them to temporarily settle. It has NPC refugees and mats on the ground to really set the scene.
